Not because of the intimacy of the act but because he was worried about disturbing the other nation’s sleep. He would go on chanting, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” to his host until Alfred would draw him close and tell him not to worry about it, that there was nothing to be sorry about. This is the Liet!anon you mention, and I just have to say, I could not have done this better myself! Seriously, it was just perfect! The longing for the respective men in their lives, and taking comfort in each other! The ghosts of the past in the nightmares, while bringing in the OPs request of the thunderstorm... Very well done, fellow author!anon! This pairing is such a soft spot for me, so I'm just happy to no end that it was done so well! <3

I wasn't sure about doing a second fill for this, but I realized that my plot bunny for it was rather different from the first (very nice!) fill, so I wrote it anyway. Given that the imagery inspired by the prompt in my head is what made me start writing it, it ended up being not very much related to the prompt. Also way longer than I'd expected. >.>; Anyway, I hope OP and others enjoy it! ^_^

Anon, that was wonderful! I especially love how you describe the Great Plains, I'm living on them myself and I get so angry when people say that the area is boring and ugly. I love the way you wrote that scene before the storm, it made me feel like I was standing right there and looking up and the sky with them.
