France - Howl's Moving Castle crossover

I'd like to see France as Howl from Howl's Moving Castle - vain, powerful, yet cowardly, and a notorious heartbreaker (though the heartbreaking isn't a product of any kind of malice, but because he likes to make people fall in love with him even though he can't reciprocate it). Can be as long or as short as you like, can contain a pairing or not, and I'm not particularly picky about pairings.

Bonus 1: Characterizations/universe from the book, please! I greatly prefer the book to the movie, because I think the characters are so much more developed and well-rounded (as in, Sophie actually has a personality) (Come to think of it, I don't even know if the characterization for Howl above is even in the movie...)

Bonus 2: UK as Calcifer, the Witch of the Waste, or Sophie (if UK = Sophie, then US = Lettie and Canada = Martha, please?)

Bonus 3: "I see no point in living if I can't be beautiful."

As a huge fan of the book, I am so pleased to see you pay tribute to it but make it your own with the cast of characters you've selected.

I would never have imagined Romano as Sophie, but now I can totally see it! He's absolutely perfect in that role! The remarks he makes to the hats are my favourite bit :)

Can't wait for more! :D

Oh, and I'd like to ask the OP if there are any pairings for France that are totally off limits. The way the story's planned out...I can't change too many of the other future pairings, and one is set in stone (and a surprise!) but I can finangle France if you want.
