I don't know if this is exactly what OP wanted. For starters, it's human AU, and even if the "couple" involved is indeed Spain/Romano, Romano doesn't even appear. It's also rather short. Sorry. I can't really explain my reasoning for this fic, tbh, behind "sometimes the representation of Spamano pisses me off and also I listened to Somebody I Used To Know by Gotye a lot today". I just hope somebody likes?

Feliciano looks at his boyfriend of three years - his steady, huge German, who never comes to serenade him under his window. He remembers thinking Romano was lucky, the first time it happened. He remembers telling him to give Antonio a chance.
"He looks so nice on the surface, but..." He shakes his head. "I think we need to call the police."
Ludwig sighs, and his shoulders fall minutely in that way that indicates how the craziness of the world sometimes almost overwhelms him.

This is fantastic. I love Crazy Fucker!Spain. At a distance. He scares me too. LOL And just..the whole picture of a realistic take on the crazy love lives of these characters. Romano as a normal person is so much more interesting to me. You've tempted me to look for decent fills on these characters now, ha ha.
