FACE family - America & Canada as parents

I'd really like to see a reversal of the usual FACE dynamic, with America & Canada acting as the stressed-out, bickering parents with chibi!England & France. Or teenage!England & France or any age in between.

Anything hits my fancy - an adoptive fic, or a day in the life, or even how single dads America & Canada meet. AUs are totally fine too! (probably would even work better...)

Basically a bunch of one-shots into their lives, from Matt and Alfred's p.o.v.

Adopting the two children had to be the worst and best idea of their lives.

Small, shaggy haired Arthur Kirkland was a feisty child; know for picking fights with the neighborhood boys over and over again until he was black and blue.

Why?

Matthew didn’t know, but because Alfred had taken a liking to the child, Matthew had to agree (“Come on Matt, he needs us!” Alfred had said) knowing full well that if he didn’t he be hated for life…and he’d never be able to eat pancakes.

Alfred was a vindictive jerk when he put his mind to it.
He cuddled Kumakichi, and signed the paperwork.

He had a lot of work to do.

Oh my gosh! Yes, I am enjoying this so much! Oh, poor Matt, never being able to eat pancakes. such a terrible tragedy And Arthur being a feisty kid! He so would be. And when Francis shows up, phew. There's going to be a lot of fights!

I can't wait to see more! there's more, right? :D

The first time, Matthew introduced Francis to Alfred-he knew there was going to be trouble.

And sadly, he was right.

“Unhand me, you git.”

“Pourquoi? I am only hugging you.”

“So, I detest it.”

“I don’t. So we hug, non?”

Arthur growled, and ripped Francis away charging at him, likely with the intent to claw his new brother’s eyes out.
Matt step in gently prying away Arthur from Francis before the violence escalated.

While on the sideline, Alfred laughed.

“Look, how much they care about each other!” He said picking

Francis up, generally happy that at least one of his children loved being affectionate. He didn’t see Francis get an evil look on his face, or feel the wondering fingers as Arthur glared at them.

Matthew smacked him upside the head.

Only Alfred could fine this situation funny.

OP here: aww, of course Alfred would be super affectionate and cuddly! Poor Arthur, though, he's the exact opposite. And Matthew has to put up with it all. XD
