A/N: I saw this listed twice in the Seconding Thread in the Discussion Post, so I decided to try my hand out at filling it. Unfortunately, this didn't turn out as cracky as you likely wanted, OP, and it's clear that I'm in need of sleep after staying up to catch Hetaween updates. At least this counts towards the fill count total? idek

Disappointingly, Greece didn't even blink at the woodcut's images; he even smiled a little bit, as if he had been expecting Japan to spring this one on him. "What does the Japanese text say?" he asked, holding the woodcut up to examine it more closely

"I'm afraid I can't answer that question," Japan said, turning back to Greece. "I can, however, tell you about the legend that Hokusai based his 'Fisherman's Wife' woodcut on in a more appropriate setting, if you'd like."

Greece stepped forward in assent and Japan wasted no time in entwining his left arm with his right one. Upon seeing the surprise in Greece's eyes that he hadn't been able to spark with a mere woodcut, Japan found himself filled with a triumphant satisfaction that made him realize the real reason behind showing Greece that particular woodcut.

After all, the best thing about being an octopus straight from an anime or ukiyo-e -- or at least roleplaying one -- was that even intelligent octopi had no sense of fear or shame. Just an insatiable appetite for whatever its tentacles could wrap around and work themselves into.

Aaaahhhhh I'm so tickled by this! I really enjoyed reading this even though it's a short piece and I love how you slipped Hokusai's Dream of a Fisherman's Wife instead of the usual tentacle-porn in hentai - it makes more sense Japan would show Greece ukiyo-e.

"I thought it was part of a test to see how desensitized I had become to images like this after being persuaded to read manga featuring lightsaber penises and watch an anime featuring corn rape last Halloween."
