FrUS – An American in Paris

There seems to be an entire genre of 'single girl gets heart broken, goes to Paris and falls in love with a sexy Frenchman.' I can't help but want a tongue-in-cheek version with France/America, with satire towards romantic comedy cliches.

Hmmm, this anon is working on the first chapter of anothr fill with America in France, but this prompt seems to potentially fit better :O
The only problem is that my research is in Canada right now, and I'm halfway around the world. If this request is not filled by aug. 26, then this anon will consider re-working the fill I already am writing to fit this prompt.
But now I have to ask: what is satire towards romantic comedy cliches? Could this anon get some examples?

Well, I have been working on yet another fill for a similar prompt that I was about to post. It's not a satire, however, I'm afraid it's very much heartfelt. I hope you do get your satire, though.
Fem!US (or even Fem!France/fem!US) is cool too.

On a side note, I've read a lot of 'single girl gets heart broken, goes to Italy and falls in love with a sexy Italian policeman' books too XD
