I noticed a lot of people use Anne for Fem!England, so this might throw people off. I don't think I've seen any official names for the fem!Nations, though. Explanations for the names are pretty easy ( ... )

This is a great fill! The descriptions, the characterizations, the historical bent...

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this :D
(just make sure you say who the OC actually is before we get into it. People like to drop names in fic and it tends to confuse me)

Thank-you! It's nice to know someone actually read it. XD And I'm glad you like the characterizations and historical side of the fic.

Believe me, there's no missing who the OC is in the chapter. She's pretty much introduced like, "Hi, OC here.". But she is only around for that part. (I do hope you'll like her anyhow.)

She was dressed in a white sailor uniform. Her smile was too wide, she was gawking at things that were utterly mundane. She was clearly American. "My name's Dorothy Becker. I got a bit turned around. My Sergeant's going to be hopping mad. Would you know the way to here ( ... )

She took a motorcar to the apartment, and told the driver to wait. Though her habit was to ring the bell until Matilda answered. she rung it three times only and waited. When Matilda answered the door, her face filled with confusion. "America?" She paused when she saw the folded flag in her hands ( ... )

So hopefully nobody was disturbed by Dorothy. (I do hope you're upset by her death though.) A bit of head canon appearing in here, with Annie being able to know about Dorothy and Matilda's relationship by sensing her citizen's feelings. Annie's begun to realize she's attracted to Matilda, but under the current circumstances Matilda has yet to reciprocate - though she does now recognize that Annie isn't a child anymore ( ... )

I can get why Dorothy is important to the story but I do wish you would warn for OC romances in the summary, it was a bit of a jolt. Also, I was wondering if there would be a similar OC romance for Annie? It seems it's always England having OC/other romances before moving onto America, and never America having the same chance for experiencing it. Also it would address the point of Annie not understanding England and Dorothy, as you have pointed out.

This is a really well written story and I look forward to seeing where this goes. Thank you for writing this.

I apologize for the lack of warning. Since it was only a plot point, and not the main story I didn't think to warn. I'll go add it in a reply to my update on the fills list.

As a matter of fact, Annie will have her own ill-fated romance. But it won't be for a part or two more. I'm glad you like the fic so far, thank-you for taking the time to comment.

Annie was late by two years and Matilda maintained that she was perfectly in her rights to greet her with a slap. If there was a flash of hurt in those blue eyes, it was gone in an instant and she felt no remorse for it. Not a smidgeon. Not even the tiniest iota. Maybe a little ( ... )

There was no one to rendevous with, because - of course - Annie just decided to come on her own. She doesn't remember later who's base they landed at. She remembered telling Annie she was a horrible pilot, and the other saying she wasn't much of a spy, and then they were kissing. It must have been the adrenaline rush. That was her excuse then, and she always stuck to it. Because once they'd kissed, both of them seemed to lose control ( ... )
