Hong Kong glanced at the paperwork piling up on his kitchen table, subtly narrowing his eyes at it as if that would make it lessen or go away. It did not. And while distracted for that few seconds, Taiwan took the moment to knock his character out of the ring on the video game they were playing. Damn. He pressed the start button as fast as he could on his controller, disliking the screen that showed the winner. She giggled, knowing this

I enjoyed reading this, author!anon. The characterizations of Hong Kong and Taiwan felt spot-on, especially with their bantering and Hong Kong's comment about Taiwan letting her hair down only around a select few people like Japan does. Just the right kind of snack-sized fill to read before curling up in front of the TV to watch Christmas films.

There's nothing wrong with the length, it was very nice for a slice-of-life scene. I enjoyed seeing how comfortable and at ease they were around each other, it felt very laid-back.
