Serbia/Russia: Serbia is Russia's other love-crazed stalker anonymous December 22 2010, 02:36:21 UTC
Serbia and Russia have historically and to the present day had very close relations, and there's even a political party in Serbia, Moja Rusija (My Russia) supporting unification with Russia. So yeah, Serbia wants to get MARRIED MARRIED MARRIED to Russia.

But Ivan "Become One With Me" Braginsky is hesitant to take Serbia up on the offer, because although he cares about 'little brother Serbia' he's seen how Serbia was when his other 'marriages' fell apart (ex: Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia).

BONUS: Serbia's a male.
BONUS2: Serbia isn't Belarus 2.0, but his obsessive devotion takes other forms.

Serbia felt lonely. Sure, he could always call Greece and there was several other nations he could hang out with without wanting to strangle them with their own entrails. But he missed being close with someone. Someone used to be Montenegro, until their union ended. Someone should be Russia. Sometimes Serbia doubted Russia's level of commitment was as great as it should be. And Russia never reacted well when Serbia pointed it out ( ... )

Russia did... Serbia wasn't sure, maybe tried to hide from his clingy sister? But he disappeared from the table and the result was him and Belarus being alone.

“I liked... reading Pravda for you,” Belarus said. “But brother is mine. Remember that. We're practically engaged.”

“Yeah... You and Kazakhstan both. Why can't I join in too? Maybe I don't like being alone. You're Russia's sister for god's sake ( ... )

That was cute, hilarious and sad at the same time.
It would be great to see some sort of a continuation of this story , because I just love your characterization of Serbia and Russia (and Belarus <3)

new OTP :D

Your Serbia! I am very disappointed he's not canon. He's perfect. Perfectly bonkers, that isXD. Your Belarus, and the implied bond between them, as well as their interaction...gold <3
why was it hot, you didn't even provide a description of Serbia...

I also think you wrote Russia really really well. And that a really really hard thing. Congrats ^^

I think it's really funny that the scariest and most unstable and less conventionally rpetty character in the series is the one to be stalked by the hottest chick, and it'd be even more amusing if a man was after him like that too xDDDDDDDDDD

Author!Anon ILU!!! *offers heart on a platter* :D

This was sadly hilarious (poor Serbia! XD; ), and I love how crazy all three of them are in their own way, and the interactions between them because of their general collective craziness. I lol-ed at Serbia comparing himself to Belarus at the end. :P

Moja Bulgarska (Bulgaria) anonymous March 6 2011, 08:58:02 UTC
It seemed natural enough to start with Russia's other little cousin, he who had been Serbia's first friend so many centuries before.

Bulgaria greetly him warmly when Russia dropped by his house. "You must try my banitsa!" Bulgaria told him, seating Russia at his table. "Fresh from the oven."

It smelled heavenly as Bulgaria began placing pastries on his plate. "Cousin," Russia said. "I must ask you something. It is about Serbija."

Bulgaria's fork clanked against Russia's plate. Fumbling for it, Bulgaria snatched the fork back up, spearing another banitsa with more force than was strictly necessary. "What are you wanting to know?" he asked ( ... )

I liked it. Very creepy at times, like with Bulgaria's scars.

Serbia sighed when he saw Russia. "You should not have gone to him about me. Bulgarska is black-hearted and bitter."

"I expected as much. He has little good to say about anyone. All those wars he started with you... did you give him blood?"

"More than he could drink," said Serbia grimly.

Moja Hrvatska (Croatia) anonymous March 7 2011, 06:41:46 UTC
The next Nation to be visited was another cousin, but one Russia had never known so well. Croatia was Serbia's sister, and perhaps once his lover, although Russia did not know for sure and did not wish to ask. Like her brother, Croatia was grey-eyed, but hers were steely-grey, the eyes of Pallas Athena, and like the warrior goddess she was ever the strategist. Croatia only agreed to meet in public, on her own terms.

She sat at an outdoor cafe, sipping a fashionable coffee and wearing a smart, fashionable suit. Croatia nodded to acknowledge his presence but did not smile and did not uncross her legs.

"I have come to talk about your brother," Russia told her.

"I have nothing to say," Croatia said without a moment's hesitance.

Russia narrowed his eyes. "Is that the truth, beautiful cousin? You have nothing to say about Vukovar? About the war?"

"Not. A word." Croatia held firm.

"Ah." Russia closed his eyes. "Interestingly, for your brother has much to say about you. About the Ustaše, and the dead Serbs."

A low hiss through clenched ( ... )
