What I don’t understand is why you’re still here.
I think you falling off that ladder must have been the best day of my life because you’re still here, even when we both know that the bruises disappeared months ago and that I don’t appreciate having to hunt through thirteen bags of McDonald’s to find the pudding in the fridge.
I know why you’re still here.
I just don’t get it, you, who are better at pretending than the rest of us combined, save for maybe Poland in a different way-Why do I love you, you ghastly child-

Mm, I really like the frenetic, stream-of-consciousness feel of this piece. I can't be sure, but it seems like you're experimenting (quite successfully!) with a new style, and this turned out really, really good. It's especially awesome for this kind of introspective moment; it lets you get in the head of characters who just aren't that honest and straightforward. GJ
All the details are astonishingly adorable here, especially holding hands to protect the food from death by England. Bags of McDonald's in the fridge, Al? It's gross enough when it's fresh ... ORZ Also, smart!Al (or perceptive!Al, if you prefer) is so very canon; I'm happy to see him making an appearance, if only in another's mind.
And I am happy. I am. Aching and plummeting and-apparently-happy.

to be very, very honest...this actually IS my regular style. i can't write normally haha! my ongoing fill right now tones it down a bit, but that's only because i don't want to blind the OP with so much sloppiness in a multipart fill.
