The family of wealthy British aristocrat Arthur Kirkland is being threatened. Arthur takes measures to ensure his family will be safe.
...and that includes the black sheep of the family (brother/cousin/stepsibling/adopted brother/whatever), photographer/journalist Alfred F. Jones. Alfred's left the family before because he felt too confined, but with this serious threat, Arthur wants to make sure Alfred will be safe, no matter what. And this means no ordinary bodyguard.
Enter Ivan Braginsky, who comes with impeccable qualifications though with a reputation for being "thorough." It's a tough assignment, but the American is making it very fun...
As for Alfred: he thinks his new Russian stalker with the constant smile is annoying, interfering, and deliberately making his life miserable. He could handle death threats on his own...so he thinks.
