Chapter 2 Slug & Jiggers Apothecary
Arthur's POV
"This is your fault, you know."
Arthur scowls and taps some ash out from the end of his pipe. "My fault? Whatever are you on about now?"
Alfred glares at him over the top of his glasses and jabs an unmanicured finger into Arthur chest, earning an indignant squawk and a smack over the head with the lit pipe. Yelling, Alfred batted the ash out of his hair before shoving Arthur against the wall between Madam Malkin's shop and a broomstick stand.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" Alfred yells, adolescent voice near cracking. "My father is the Minister of Magic!"
If anything, this proclamation just makes Arthur scowl more. "The Minister isn't married, and his name is Williams."
Interestingly, this just makes Alfred color and become even angrier. "Well, my mom's different from Matthew's -"
Arthur's eyebrows shot up, and he couldn't help but ask: "You're the Minister's bastards

I was wondering if and when you were going to do more character POVs.
The scene with his mother at the beginning, and I like how Francis himself is unsure if it's real or a fabrication. (Just in general, it's nice to see all these different facets of France's personality explored.)
And Francis has a dragon plushie. *snickers*
I am way to excited about this fill...

Oh oh oh. Anon, this is beautiful! It's still so clearly Rowling's world, but it's not just a cheap repeat of the books the way crossovers often are, you've taken it and made it your own and I am blown away. Like everyone else, I love the bitter-rivals-best-friends relationship between Francis and Arthur, am horribly intrigued by the situations and revelations of all the characters here.
I wonder if Alfred knows whatever it is that his brother is hiding, and if that's part of the reason he seems so hovering and overprotective? I'm bookmarking this fill, and will probably be checking back every day or two for more. Please update soon?

Sorry for the long time between updates; my health has not been good as of late. *A*
Chapter 4 Scarves for Friendship
Arthur's POVIvan Braginski is, in Francis's opinion, quite undeserving of his reputation as Most Likely to Become a Dark Lord in their year (and, perhaps, in the year above and below as well). Sure, the Russian teen towers over most of the students and the majority of the professors, is of a build that looks like he could give Hagrid a run for his money on a very good day, and has a childish innocence about him that just doesn't quite jive with half the things that he says. Still, the reputation is founded upon little more than just his stature and, well, perhaps he does know a rather lot about the Dark Arts, but, then again, most Slytherins do

There is something too hilariously surreal about Ivan manually duct taping a first year to the train ceiling (and he was probably humming under his breath as he was doing it). I wince at the thought and then realize that tormenting first years is practically mandatory "fine school tradition." England, your school system is such a clusterfuck, whether it's magical or not.
Is the betting pool for "Most likely to be the next Dark Lord" limited only to Slytherin or is it a schoolwide thing?

The betting pool is a schoolwide thing, but the normal candidate for "Most Likely To Be The Next Dark Lord" is usually Slytherin. It's that sort of thing.
Dude, you're back! :D Sorry to hear your health has been bad; I hope it's nothing too serious, at least. D:
I still can't believe this fill is so entertaining; usually Hogwarts AUs are just ... bad, frankly. But this is just fun to read, especially Arthur's POV when it comes to Francis. XD He blames everything on the Frenchness, doesn't he? Although even I am confused by Francis and Ivan's relationship, I have to admit.
P-poor Arthur, lol: "Arthur looks like his eyebrows were well-fed." Although I guess it could have been worse; same for that first-year taped to the ceiling, really. At least he wasn't naked, etc.
... Ivan works at St. Mungo's. D:D What is this, I don't even ...
Well, I guess Ivan is a good incentive to NEVER require the services of a Healer!
Francis snorts and just shakes his head, an almost wistful look in his eyes. Arthur can't help but want to reach out to Francis in that moment, but he knows such displays in a public forum as this would be unwise. Oh Arthur, why so restrained and British? Oh

I tried to imagine Ivan's voice as I read this part and there was it - Luna!! I can totally see her and Ivan being BFF.
Please, let the first-year on the ceiling be Toris! Or some other Baltic, I'm not that picky, just let him appear again!
Oh, and your fic is beautiful and excellent written, with the right amount of humor, lovely characters and really good plot. Extra points for Arthur's dere-ness, I have a soft spot for it.

I'm so glad you're continuing writernon, and I hope your health improves.
This Ivan is soooo cute! I love that you managed to capture his childish cuteness and caring, while still making him fucked up and dark. Very IC *squeeing*
Matthew is pretty skittish, I hope hanging around Francis can give him a bit of confidence....
