OCnation remembers betrayal

Yes! This is a request specifically for those OCnations!
I'd like fic in which an OCnation is reminiscing about a time s/he was stabbed in the back by another nation s/he loved or trusted. Teach me some new history. Any OCnation is cool, and you can use one of Himaruya's creations who haven't appeared in the strips yet (like that unofficial girl North Korea sketch).
The worst part about it all is that he refuses to even discuss the issue at hand.
It's been a hundred or so years. I've got to set the example, first Christian nation and all. And wouldn't it be a very un-Christian thing to do, if I couldn't forgive him? I'm willing to try to make amends.
But I can't forgive him if there's nothing he's done. And in his own mind he hasn't, so every time we have meetings we sit across the table from each other, exchanging sour glances like grapes growing old and bitter in a vineyard. And talking about things that don't matter. Oh, I understand-genocide is a big accusation; even Germany's still shaking from the guilt. I can't even raise my right arm during those meetings without him cringing. But that doesn't mean I have to like any of it

*The Armenian Genocide occurred from 1914-1918 and was committed against the Armenian people by the Ottoman government at the time. About 1-1.5 million Armenians died. Modern-day Turkey doesn't recognize the genocide or even discuss the matter, though the genocide was committed by the government the current government kicked out.
*Modern-day Germany is very sensitive about the Holocaust. Holocaust denial is illegal and pretty much taboo, and even raising your right arm is suspicious in some areas.
*Armenia was the very first nation on earth to ever adopt Christianity as its state religion. The traditional date is 301, but it's probably later than that.
*Turkey's little sister is Azerbaijan. Relations between Armenia and Turkey are icier than a witch's tit in a tin bra in January, but Azerbaijan and Armenia just LOOOOVE to bitchfight each other.
*Armenia was dubbed the “loyal millet” during much of the 19th century, since it was one of the few states to not fight for independence, and its nationalist movement was fairly late in (

First of all, you hit every bit of my head-canon for an Armenia-tan. Braids, gender, Azerbaijan's gender.
Second...I shamefully admit this is something I've kind of always wanted to see a serious fic about. Especially with thee recent votes in America and Sweden that have Turkey pretty steamed.
I'm no one special, but would you like my first born?

Well, whatever floats your boat.
And I'm also tired of seeing rape as the only reason for angst, even though this is sort of off-topic. There's plenty of other ways to hurt a person, and if you're a nation, seeing your people massacred is definitely one of them.

I do agree. There are so many other reasons for angst, especially for a nation. Famine (and especially a man made one, Opression, Civil Wars, really...Rape isn't the only metaphor for invasion either.
This made me think...

Turkey insists that the genocide kept Armenians from siding with their enemies in Russia. Then that made me think of all the crazy that came out of America (and everyone else) during the Cold War. Then I thought of all the people who supported Nazi rule because it kept them safe from the Soviets. Then I couldn't help but notice that bad stuff kinda happens to those who invade Russia. Poland-Lithuania, France, Germany, Mongols, etc...
I'm not sure where I was going with this, but wow...Russia...

The worst part about it all is that he refuses to even discuss the issue at hand. I... I just wannna say that that's where I knew it's Armenia, and I'm so glad you wrote her, AA. Because, well, there's a serious lack of OCs on the kink meme, and because you wrote Armenia as IC as possible without her even having a character. And that's admirable.
But I can't forgive him if there's nothing he's done. And in his own mind he hasn't this line saddens me way too much than it should.
But I prefer to imagine that it's a part of his flesh, so grown into his skin that veins and blood and a pulse are all that's underneath. It would probably hurt if I ripped it off. I think this part is my favorite. It's so... I don't know. Raw pain? Armenia wants to hurt just as much as Turkey hurt her? Unless I'm understanding this completely wrong
Because I have rope burns from nooses meant for them. I'm not going to cry. That's where I started to cry myself - what Armenia is willing to do to save her people... My heart aches

The reason I tried to look pretty was because he liked it. It was pleasant to him, even though we were never in love and I can't remember whether or not I've ever shared his bed.
And then Greece and some of the other nations in our house wanted out, fought wars for their independence - I didn't. I never did.
He used to call me “the loyal one”.
These are the parts that make it hurt. Thank you for the beautiful fill, author!anon.

I'm speechless, AA, just speechless. This was...wow...just...wow... I know very little about the genocide myself, but I know enough to recognize that this fill was quite faithful to the history. Good job.

Turkey did probably beat the shit out of her/try to kill her and put her in exile, though.
