SpaRom (or RomSpa), creepy and dramatic

"I shall eliminate with this arm everything that may harm you/I shall destroy with this arm everything that you hate (is it heathen, breathen, or war itself?)"
Inspired by this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXhKW-uyqCo) lovely MAD, SpaRomSpa at it's most co-dependent crazy. Romano willing to direct, Spain willing to hurt/kill for his happiness and whims. I am sure this can not end sanely, but I'd like them to still be together happily at the end, although the ending certainly doesn't have to be happy (although it can be!).
I'm looking for a serious fic here- although it doesn't have to be a long one. Small bonus, though, if somehow through this serious fic, you can work in the DRAMATIC borderline evil tomatos that always make me giggle when watching that video. And recaptcha said angelia.
Salome - Part 1 - 3/4

"Why are you telling me all this?" Lovino asks. He sounds frightened, and when Spain raises his head, he sees that his eyes
are filling with tears. This is a surprise.
"Because you know."
"I know what?"
"Evil. You can tell evil from good. You pick who's a saint and who's a sinner."
Suddenly, understanding dawns on Lovino's face. "Look. I am but a child. Go ask the Holy Father, I'll give you special
visiting rights to him if you like."
"But I want you to bless me!"
"No, no, you don't understand! I can't! I'm not just Rome, I'm not just Vatican!" Lovino is crying now, flustered, like
children get sometimes when they're overwhelmed. "I'm a worse sinner than you!"
"You look like an angel."
"Yes, and I am the spawn of pagans, and I passed the days in company of Moors and Jews, and followed a king that went against
everything holy, that may as well have been the Antichrist! And I followed him against the Holy Father himself!" Spain chuckles. "It's true, you are but a child." He sits on the edge of the bed again. "All those thing,

i love this!!! i can't wait for more <3 It's such a great look at how Spain and Romano's relationship could start and how it could be -- now this is totally my headcanon, and it's so awesome how it can inform their current relationship <333333

up with another request I saw (that I can't find) in which Spain is the Spanish Inquisition obsessed with Romano/Vatican, and
I do like broken!Catholic!SpaRo, so much I suspect I should find myself a good analist and sort my atheist/Catholic issues
out.
And my writing got weirder and weirder, and that's bad when you're writing in a language that's not your own, and the fill
got longer and longer, and and... I'm writing it and posting it anyway, because I simply can't get rid of the images the
prompts evoked. The final result won't probably make any sense if you live outside of my head.
This and the next parts will follow some sort of kind of vague historical canon up to a certain point, then go completely
batshit insane.

who has Lovino's permission to feed him. "He's very picky when it comes to food," she has explained to Spain with her
trembling, pious voice, "so I personally prepare everything the way I know he likes. Also," and here her apologetic tone had
dropped to a whisper, like she was scared her charge could hear her through walls "he's still too weak to feed himself, and
he doesn't want anybody to see him while he's being spoonfed like a child."
But he is a child, and this shame makes no sense, Antonio thinks. At least, this is what he allows himself to ( ... )

softly now, sniffling against the cover like a child. He rises his head, but does not stand up. It's weird to see the
masculine, proud face with tears running down it.
"I try. I try so hard. But I can't. I never know if what I'm doing is wrong, until after I've done it. I pass half my life
sinning and the other half repenting. How can I go on like this?"
He grabs Lovino's tiny, pale hand between his big,
tanned ones, and the child can feel calluses from working with both sword and shovel.
"There's nobody like me that I can
talk to."
His voice becomes soft, almost a whine.
"Can I come to you to talk? After having done that, I mean. After
having observed my sins."
He leans towards him.

Major love to the anon who knows who the mysterious King "that may as well have been the Antichrist" is.
Dominus noster Jesus Christus te absolvat...: according to the omniscient Wikipedia, that's the latin formula for
absolution in use before the Second Vatican Council. There's another prayer to say after it, but the scene was long and
boring enough.
I don't want to drown you in notes. But:
- Lovino (Southern Italy more than Vatican) did call for Spain's help against his enemies, and that's how Spanish
control over Sicily first, the rest of the country later began.
- Antonio did become sort of a bodyguard for the Vatican State, even if he never had direct control over it - more the
other way around actually. It's the period of the so-called Spagna cattolicissima, 'most Catholic Spain', much more
than, say, Veneziano was at the time, if by him we mean the Republic of Venice.
- The conjunction ( ... )

God, this fill is so awesome! Both Author!Anon and OP are wonderful people for this.
I know that you're not very sure about this fill, but please, continue it! Antonio smiling cruelly just made my heart beat faster.

And yes, it's Frederick II. This anon is such a fangirl for him and his family, especially poor Konradin.
