According to Wikipedia Estonia even planned a nordic crossed flag in the past? And Estonians are somehow related to the Finns, right? Then why is it that they aren't Nordic even tho Estonia is more north than Denmark? Is it the culture or language or something (but then again, why is Finland Nordic if Finnish isn't a Nordic language?)

Sorry, this non-nordic/baltic anon doesn't know and just wonders... xD

Basically, Finland was originally part of Sweden, even though Finland had its own language and culture and such. Estonia did become part of Sweden for a while, but it was part of the Baltics for much longer, so the other Nordics basically said "stay with the Baltics, mmkay?"
