In honor of all those "what if"/AU scenarios out there...
During the French Revolution, Britain declared war on France. The United States, although allies with France, maintained a policy of neutrality because they feared losing the trade with Britain.
What if, instead, America HAD sided with France? Meaning no XYZ Affair, no Quasi-War, and the Treaty of Alliance was never broken.
