That was probably why she had left to live with Russia. Sweden had over a century to think about this, and that was the thing he kept going back to. Sure, he had always given her a roof over her head and food to eat, but he had always demanded everything of her. She had been more of a maid than a wife, and looking back on it now he could tell that she hated it. That had to be why she had gone to Russia’s house without much complaint: sweet whispers of promises of equality wooed her away from him. And over the time he was alone, Sweden had grown to realize just how wrong he had been in his treatment of her. She wasn’t a thing for him to order around. She was Finland, his ally, his wife. She deserved better than what he had given her ( ... )

That was absolutely amazing writer!anon! I really loved how you were able to put the wars and everything to work with the fact that Sweden might have treated Finland very poorly in those years; How communism was tempting to her, in that aspect. a;lsfdjaa All round amazing, I really enjoyed it!
