Arthur shakes in his chair, eyes wide before a derisive snort sounds from the Italian's corner; Romano smirking at the wide-eyed world," What? You idiots are surprised that little America's a bad ass? You do forget...he's a melting pot. And he had some of my best men running the show." He stands up, snickering as he pats his confused brother on the head," Now, if you'll excuse me. I think I need to go check on my...brother in arms."
Romano exits the room with a mean snicker, the door sliding shut more quietly.
England vows to sit on the opposite side of the table next year.
End~
So...Good bad indifferent?

You make Writer!anon so happy~
I'm glad you liked it, I was hoping I'd kept it all together and that you had such a lovely comment to make on it! I was kinda afraid no one was going to leave one...
And I just couldn't resist the melting pot.

Just one thing that irked me slightly, I don't think England would have taken shit from America so passively D:

I was playing on the fact that England couldn't reply, and the fact that he hadn't seen this shadier less personable side of America before.
But thank you for the comment and critque~ and the compliment!

Eeee~ You found the best part of it! I loved doing that! I would totally see him doing his own equivalent of the 'kolkolkol' moment...
Than being bouncy perky America right after and leaving everyone to do a What the Fuck just happened?
And Romano....
Romano was justa guilty pleasure to add in. So thank you over all for your kind comments!

As to the comment itself, yes; the US in its short lifetime has had as much if not more: Shoot-em-up, rough cut, cut throat, back stabbing, fanged smiles, as any other country. America is the home of opportunity and optimism and it can be a little childish.
But not entirely. As to the personality itself; its just another aspect of the same, rather like any person that's normally upbeat can go off the deep end if pushed enough.
So! Thank you, for taking time to read and comment! Oh....and wolve's are fucking bad-ass~

They are. :)
I'd love to see more of your Alfred. Hm... A comically sweet guy who suddenly turns to wolf, the optimism + the childish smile + hamburgers + pumping naughty people full of lead on a regular basis (for who else has recently fought so many wars in so short a time) and robbing their lands of oil? => That looks like a hard case of Stepford Smiler. And really, Alfred's just perfect as a Stepford Smiler.

Alfred is so much more than just one thing, all the characters are. That's what lets us write fanfiction; taking history and putting a single face to it. SO much capability for evil and darkness and downright nastiness.
And he's not so much a Stepford Smiler...as an optimist with a very healthy dose of trigger happy gun loving citizens to let him switch into wolf!mode and blow the hell out of whatever he can't smile away.
Amongst other things.

And thank you~ Cause its true! What America can't talk there way out of, we get rid of it. Texas!anon would like to point out that we talk, than warn, than if you persist...well...we do have one of the highest gun to person ratios in the nation. *smirk*

Thank you so much! I love how versatile all the nations can be...but Alfred in particular fascinates me. And I'm an American myself, so I know just how we seem on the surface.
But we, and he, are so much more.
In the short history we've had, we've had so much....'stuff' packed into it.
And...ah...would you believe this is my first time I actually got the courage to make and post a Hetalia story?
