Prompt at http://hetalia-kink.livejournal.com/6850.html?thread=8469698#t8469698

On this like Canada on maple syrup (or is it maple syrup on Canada?). Prompt asked for any Nation and a serial killer. Hopefully this is sort of what you wanted. Author-annon now needs to go write some cute fluffy story to balance out karma...

~

Everyone forgets one important fact about Nations.

A Nation is a Nation, and with that comes all the dark gritty shades that comes with being one. While each Nation has a unique personality and can act human, they are not quite human. And none of them can ever be considered good people. Never, not in a million years ( ... )

England was the one who started the Nations' odd love affair with serial killers in modern times. His dear Jack is arguably the most famous of all time, as well as being the most mysterious. They say that no one knows who Jack the Ripper really was ( ... )

It wasn't uncommon for one Nation or another to arrive at a meeting, their fronts stained red, an odd dark smile on their lips, and their eyes cloudy with tears. A Nation is a killer and victim all at once, seeing both sides of the equation. Ah yes, serial killers are a dark fascination.

Japan knows quite a bit about fascination. Did Japan not have otaku? Japan remembers movies scattered about the floor, stacked up against the walls as a man, Tsutomu Miyazaki, wrung his deformed hands and watched flowers being carved out of flesh and blood, his heart desiring, no needing, to perform the task himself.

“Erika. Cold. Cough. Throat. Rest. Death.” Did Japan not have the Otaku Murderer ( ... )

Oh my GOD anon. This is so sad and terrifying. It adds a new depth to the Nation-tans. My favorite lines were the one's about Canada.

this was breath taking. the way it was described, with impartial third person perspective, logical and emotioness, how it stepped through all the nations, not lingering on those who would have been the most obvious, but more on those you would expect it less,

with beautiful wording and pace, cruel and detached...

it was just perfect, and freaking and blood freezing. *shivers*

thank you anon, this was... utterly amazing.

sorry, i also forgot to mention that the whole duality about victims and killers was just as striking and perfect.

this is what nations are, after all. wow. just, wow.

This was chillingly and brilliantly well done, writer!anon.

So true, when nations are also their people, as much as their people are the very essence of them. The part that strikes me most is that they're both killer and victim, both the same.

I remember reading up about the Otaku Murderer and man, that is just scary and sad. Well written~

Awesome! I love it. Serial killers are fascinating to me personally because it makes you wonder how dark can the human mind go before they lose their humanity. Like Jefferey Dahmer.

Ah anon that suggested Ed Gein is all giddy that you mentioned him ;3; He's my all time favorite

I just loved how chilling and gruesome the imagery was, and how creepy the nations were. I cringed at Canada's and Italy's stories the most.

Great job anon, thumbs up~

Sweet zombie Jesus, anon. That was chilling and so well-written. I like it when people delve into the minds of the Nations with such clarity as you did.

That was great! I loved the duality thing you had going on there what with victim and killer and the whole thing with the nations mirroring the killers...

Wow.

I'm not sure if you knew much of this before or did research for this fic, but as someone who researches killers I'm quite impressed.

... I really can't get that image of bloodstained nations out of my mind. I'll have to draw it. ... Man, I feel twisted now. Beautiful writing!

*shivers* That was chilling and viseral and slightly disturbing and yet engrossing all at once.

And the picture you painted of the nations, half-crazed with blood and weeping, is so clear. I hesitate to use the word, but beside being frightening, your portrayal (especially of America) was almost seductive.

THIS THIS THIS

Thank you so much, Anon! This is exactly how I see the Nations. As the sum of all of their citizens *Q*

Oh my god anon you have just won all my love forever! I had quite honestly thought that this would never get fulfilled, and have been away for so long that I didn't notice it was filled until today! Thank you very much for your wonderful fill, the way you presented both sides was absolutely stunning ♥
