Alfred grinned once more. Returning his focus back to the lamp. He cocked his head. One finger tapping at the fragile, glass bulb.

“Same thing I’ll do to everybody else.” He whispered gently.

And with a slight push of his hand, Alfred sent the lamp falling. The last light shattering upon impact on the hard, unforgiving floor.

Leaving only bleak darkness.

England scowled as he trudged down the sidewalk. His giant brows furrowing, mulling over the conference that just convened a mere ten minutes ago.

True as it may be, things were a lot quieter without a certain someone around… Conferences were still stressful. Still very much a migraine. And still very much a pain in the ass.

Which is exactly why, instead of heading back to his hotel. Or maybe he should say Inn. (Stupid git.) England was heading for the nearest pub. Thankfully, god thankfully, one was nearby.

At least when he was in the meetings, things were a lot livelier. Sure, they were noisy. Not to mention a lot more chaotic (and idiotic). But the seconds ( ... )
