Original Request: Italy and Germany make love once and once only, on the night before Italy defects to the Allied Forces. Years later, Italy attempts to patch things up between him and Germany, only to find that Germany is marrying another country (France, perhaps?). In the spirit of goodwill, he makes up with Germany and tells him he's happy for him, etc.
But inside, Italy is breaking apart and on the eve of Germany's wedding, he asks Germany for a slow-dance to tell him that he has always loved him and that he only wishes for Germany to be happy. Germany's reaction is entirely up to anon!writers. I just want a painfully heart-broken and still very much in-love Italy asking Germany for one last dance. Bonus points if anon feels like writing some smut about their first time. If this has been done before, could some kind anon please provide the link?
