THE SHOW:
If you don't know about this show (have you been living under a rock these past few years???), it is based upon Paul Ekman's work on microexpressions. The Lightman Group was created by Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams). Helped by two of their employees, Eli Loker (Brendan Hines) and Ria Torres (Monica Raymund), they tackle cases brought by their clients and find the truth, detect deception through the body language and microexpressions. Side stories also deals with Cal's teenage daughter, Emily.
THE WOMAN:
Dr Gillian Foster is Cal Lightman's partner and best friend, since they met back in 2003. She is also the ex-wife of Alec Foster (as of season 2). Gillian is what we can call a REAL WOMAN, unlike some other female characters in other tv-shows. She loves to eat all kind of desserts.

Cal Lightman and Gillian Foster has one of the most beautiful friendship I've ever seen on television. They're best friends, and even though he makes her angry, he pushes her away, they always come back to one another. They love each other, even though they haven't told the other, it's still obvious. And Emily is our ally in the show! ;)

It's a Valentine's Day fic, starting with Eli worrying about Gillian, and it just shows again that everyone knows that something is going on between Cal&Gillian. A really beautiful, lovely fic.
