The wisps and fragments of the earlier section, upon reflection, justify and complement the actual blindfolding. One gets the feeling of being one of the ghosts, actually. I really like this.

That was great. I loved the porn, and the motif of the bandanna and the sword. And the optimism of the ending.

Seconding Mith on the how effective the fragments are here -- they give a disjointed, ghostly feel to the piece that's perfectly in sync with the disconnect the two of them are going through. Lovely.

And the porn turned out quite well. I love the sensations Celes is holding back, and the feeling of heat that radiates from that section (it's a nice contrast to Celes's usual...well, cold.)

And there's a little bit of hope at the ending. Aw.

I love the gradual, stop-and-start progression here - from Not Talking About That to making an effort to airing the old pains to doing something. And I like the little details of Celes's soldier background, like the persistent focus on her weapon, and the fact that she waits up until "one hundred hours".

This line really stuck me: Yet even when he drives her past the point of rational thought, even when he shudders above her and his hands clench tight on her shoulders, she can feel the eyes of the dead upon them.

Just wonderful.

And the porn was lovely, and the last line being a recontextualized repeat of the first, making it so lovely and optimistic...

*squees* Thank you! ♥ One of my favourite things to analyze about this pairing in particular is that she doesn't talk about things, period, and he's not that kind of person at all except when it comes to Rachel and memories of her, so it's interesting to put them in a position where they have to talk about it and poke them with sharp sticks until they do.

Also I blame my FF12 obsession with Ashe and Rasler for the "eyes of the dead" thing XD

But mostly I love that the little details - like the way she keeps track of time in military terms, and the focus on her weapon - are things that came across well. ^_^; Thank you!
