It's my LOTR OTP! Faramir looks really great (huge bonus for him not resembling the movie Faramir!), I love his face and arms and hips, and I love Eowyn's pose and feet. I think it also shows in this picture just how attracted they are to each other, and how they enjoy each other's company. Another lovely piece of art from you.

I like David Wenham, but he's no Faramir. I liked the book's image of a dark-haired, hot, clean-shaven, hot, rangerish, hot, bookish dude. Is it bad to be turned on by my own art?

He wasn't, which was a pity. But I loved the book Faramir in more ways than one. (Hot was just one way.)

Sadly, my memories of reading LOTR are hazy, but I really like this picture. You can see romantic tension in it.

Thanks! It's been a while since I've read the books, too, but they were my favorite couple. I can see this happening after the trilogy, maybe when they're an "old married couple."

Ha! Thanks! It's actually the other way around--I'm a writer as well as an artist. Art came first; it's what I went to school for, what I'm gainfully employed in. Writing's become a hobby just recently.

I don't do fan art that often, for some reason, so I don't consider myself a fan artist. Still, poke around enough and you'll be able to find a meager stash.
