This is heartwrenching, but at the same time hopeful. You conveyed a really beautiful feeling with this, I must say. Vivid imagery too, especially comparing Aeris to the flowers she sold. Oh, and the "He traced the path of the journey that he never went on" line was simply brilliant *sniffles a little*

Loved the bit with the stray cat too, and how its colors seemed to be a perfect match with Cait Sith's.

Ouch. Poor Reeve. I love some of the lines, like the He traced the path of the journey that he never went on, following the events that never should have taken place. And the way he talked to people.
