I really like the Rikku-voice of this piece, and the way Kimahri is grave and very observant and with deep feelings that he doesn't convey the way one of the other characters might. Yay! ♥

Thank you. I always thought Kimahri had more going on in his head than he let on. He's an interesting character to write. ^^

Oh, this is really sweet! You do a great job with Kimahri's speech patterns, and with capturing the feel of his people's pride and quiet strength. Rikku contrasts with him really well. ^^

And I can't fault you at all for posting early -- certainly, better to post early than to miss your chance to post at all! ^^

Thanks. :D Yeah, I totally wasn't expecting to like these two together at first, but after I played the game again and realized how well they offset each other - for lack of a better word - I really loved them.

Excellent characterization of both of them, and I always appreciate it when someone gets Rikku's patter right without making her vapid!

The insight that Yuna would want to go back and Send the Ronso makes so much sense, and I've never seen any fanfic writer think of it before. Bravo!

That was actually one of my first thoughts. The other was, why wouldn't she try to send the other fallen Summoners, if there was even a chance they weren't already Fiends? And yeah, even more so for the Ronso, because they had just fallen, and who else would send them?

I'm glad to hear that I got Rikku's voice right. I was nervous about that. Thank you. ^^

I'm so sorry it took me a long time to comment on this. I had the posting dates mixed up, plus I had personal stuff going on.

It's such a sweet and beautiful fic. I love the insights into the Ronso view of religion... and Rikku being Rikku, not being ashamed of her emotions. And Kimahri singing, and sharing that with her... I loved the song the Ronso sang in canon and I was certain they must have more.

Thank you so much for writing this for me...
