I meant to comment on this when you posted, but I had all family stuff going on and have been really busy for the past couple of days. But! Nathan/Declan fic! Oh. It's really lovely. The Nathan in my head is a bit more destroyed, UTTERLY DESTROYED, and furious at Declan and everyone than yours is, but it's nice to think of him being alright. And getting drunk with Declan. And Declan loving him because he knows a bar that will still be open. And Declan wanting to make him blush. And Declan putting his hand over his mouth. Oh. <3

Sometimes I do want to write Nathan like that, but..IDK, in my head he always, always had a saftey net of some sort. My headcanon is that he left, and phoned someone (a friend or someone who owed him a favour), stayed with them for a while and then started rebuilding. Though I might try to write some angry Nathan. He can have sorted himself out and still be angry, I suppose.
I did find a fic the other day that I wrote but never typed up, so I might type that one up and tweak it a bit :)
