AAAH. It's a testament to just how slashy/tense the show is getting now that this seems like a scene that could really easily just pop up in real life. HOW GREAT WAS IT WHEN DECLAN HAD TO MANHANDLE NATHAN OUT OF THE OFFICE? And when he fired Nathan and then Nathan just turned up playing computer games and playing his music really loud and hanging out in the office? OH NATHAN. Even now, when Declan is supposed to hate Nathan and think him capable of murdering his own dad, he still often seems more frustrated with him than anything. It's weird. But great.
I love that Nathan stayed just outside the doorway. I love that Declan stood up and moved closer to Nathan and it was a mistake. I share Nathan's disappointment that Declan didn't make things more interesting. Although extra complications in his life would probably be a bad idea at the current point in canon. OH GOD NATHAN. And Declan. Oh.
I have trouble getting to slash part of most of my pairings most of the time, especially nowadays. But with Nathan and Declan I have, like, long and detailed personal canon about their sex lives, and the way a relationship/sex between them would probably go. Including a series of AUs. But mostly just to do with them and the actual storyline they're having. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. THEY ARE AWESOME.
I know what you mean. I have been stuck in the gen ghetto for a while now, but with these two I can see where the sex is going.
