D: oh hell. being stuck using really old computers sucks so hard. >< A few years back, my laptop ate itself and I was stuck with a desktop that we'd had for as long as I could remember, pfft. That was miserable.

D: I feel your pain.

What's even worse, is that the computer I'm currently using is also home built, by someone who didn't know as much about computers as they should have before offering their services to someone else. As is made evident by the glue on the memory stick. BUT, it's working, which is a miracle in and of itself, so I'm not going to complain. At least not too much anyway.

What's really driving me nuts (besides the slowness) is not being able to hoard like I use to; music, pictures, e-books and the like. My music collection alone on the other computer was around 13 GBs. *pouts* Lost so much stuff.

Well glad to hear from you again.

And hugs.

I'm sure everything else will work itself out in the long run.

Yay for not freezing or suffering from freezing pipes!! Can only imagine how fun fun that would be!

I'm sure things will all work out too. It's just annoying when it always happens all at once. The whole, when it rains it pours, sort of thing.

With any luck, I'll be able to get the replacement hard drive sometime this month. Then I'll be up and running and back to normal again.
