Daniela stood waiting for the door to open, taking a moment to fix her hair after the cold Michigan wind whipped it around her face. She had just gotten it under control when the door opened and there was Leonard's father. He smiled at her pleasantly and she returned it.

"Hi, is Leonard home?" She usually wasn't one to show up unannounced, but it was the weekend and neither of them often had plans besides those they made with each other. That was why Dani had took it upon herself to stop by, and see if he wanted to hang out.

Olivia was the one that heard the door and she sidled her chair closer to Leonard's when she did so, hearing a voice in the distance that was that of a girl. If that was his damn girlfriend, she would not be happy.

Leonard, however, only lifted his head when he heard his father call out that Dani was there. He lifted his head in time to see his father leading his girlfriend through.

Dani was smiling as she came in, but once she saw that his partner was there, it faded fast and she was left looking embarrassed.

"Oh. Oh, sorry, I didn't know you were studying today. Shoulda called first." Shifting awkwardly on her feet, she figured she should probably go, though the thought of leaving Leonard alone with that close-sitting hussy didn't sit right with her either.

"No, hey..." he pushed his chair out then and put down his pen to walk over to her. A small smile on his face and he leant in close to kiss her cheek gently, before he moved to take hold of her hand. "We're almost done today. I just gotta finish writin' this bit up."

What he didn't notice was how Olivia stared over at Dani. And how she inched her chair even closer to his whilst they were distracted with the cheek kiss.
