Dani had had a rough day, but all her days were rough ones now. She had always been a born follower, and now, to have to lead and make decisions that could affect others' lives left her completely stressed and hanging by a thread.

She punched in her code and entered her quarters, jumping slightly when she saw Leonard sitting there. After quickly closing the door, she turned towards him, pulling her hair from its tight bun.

"I forgot you were coming over," she said, and marveled at that fact. She usually was never one to forget something that would brighten her day, like seeing Leonard at the end of it, but all the work she'd been doing had pushed it from her mind.

His eyebrows raised in surprise at her saying so, but he then leant forwards to settle his glass on the coffee table, and patted the couch near him. "C'mere. Let me give you a lil' shoulder rub then."

That won him a soft smile and she sat next to him, leaning in for a kiss first.

"Hi. How was your day?"
