I love the Friday plays, I must try to work out how to load it up with some. It's turning out to be very handy \o/

Have you got a red cover too?

I must admit I have completely fallen in love with my Kindle. I particularly love that you can decide on a book and download it then and there. I only have a wifi version, but I can download books on my iphone and the see them on the Kindle when I get home. It's so easy - and much better than my e-reader which needed a laptop and cables to upload stuff to. I really like the option to email to it as well.

Mine is the wi-fi version.

I discovered some very useful archives from which I download free stuff to my laptop and then use a usb cable to transfer to the Kindle.

I'm enjoying my Kindle too, though am still using my Sony reader as well, as it's got lots of books and fanfic already loaded on. Anything new will go straight onto the Kindle though. They are an absolute boon when travelling.

(I have the red cover too!)

I can see that a Kindle would be very, very useful on a boat; it takes up so little room and can hold tons of titles.

I absolutely adore my Kindle for traveling. I can't wait for our next international trip... it'll be fantastic not having to haul a stack of books along with us. Sounds like you've found some good sites for free books already... I check Inkmesh every few days for anything new. And I love that Baen is selling collections of ebooks inexpensively (and often just free).
