When? When were you here? You should have said. You could have come to tea.

I sneezed a lot too, yesterday. It must be the concentration because lavender doesn't affect me that way out in the fields or at home.

It was. Boggy is right - it's always best to organise these things in-house. The Moulin Rouge should have delivered more fun, but it was this event that did.

So does chocolate Eton mess replace the fruit with chocolate or just add chocolate to everything else?

I haven't a clue. Maya is a very accomplished cook but, as I like neither chocolate puddings nor meringue, I did not partake of the mess. It looked as though the chocolate had replaced the fruit and Maya explained that she adds her own variations in the 'seasoning'. There was some sort of spice in the chocolate one. She made a version of the fruit one for our workshop day in November to which she'd added anise.

Hello -- I was going to send everyone a virtual cookie, but then I decided to do something a bit more personal, and I thought you might like a Lady in a Red Hat:

It sounds so good that I wish I had been invited, It made up for the "Red Hat" disaster.

Red Hat disaster was most definitely forgotten. You would have been most welcome.
