Oh yes! Fellow X-Phile here! I love the early seasons. Like, up to season four.. after that it started falling apart a bit I think.

“Perfect.” Matthew told me when he finally pulled away and I found Nathan squirming across Matthew's lap to mine, hugging me as the camera snapped off its final picture.

I have that image in my head and it's so perfect!
at the same time makes me so nervous, it's the perfect anticipation for a "not so happy" moment. They fit to well with each other. So so SO cute.

Really nice feel-good chapter, although I shudder at the thought of the dark times ahead that you keep hinting at...

I do get a sense that Matt, Dom and Nathan are more like a small family rather than a couple in which one of them happens to have a kid.

Oh yes, I was certainly aiming for the family feel. Matt isn't going to exclude his son just because he's got a new man in his life. And really, I think Dom is more than happy to be a part of a little family.
