1) Job UpdateAs I posted on Friday, I got the job offer from Cryptic. That is full of awesome. I just put in my 2(ish) week notice today. I'll be leaving this job on June 11th, a couple days before the wedding, and starting my new one on June 23rd, when we return from the honeymoon. Unfortunately, my boss is on vacation until June 2nd. Raising money for Make a Wish was awesome fun and entirely worth it. >-)
I, too, hope that they'll keep it up for next year. I know the treo who went up will be going up individually next time as they got kind of a dud price and more of a dud buyer.

That was a seriously fun con. There will be plenty of new people at our next party.

Yay. I do look forward to at least one couple that I also met coming to your future parties.

Keep in mind that one of your new friends is incompatible with little_ribbit, however. Not sure if she was somebody you were planning to invite, considering I believe you're already aware of this incompatibility, but figured I'd point it out again to be safe.

I did look up the LOLcat video afterwards, BTW. It turns out the comment thread had degraded into a bunch of vitriol about desecrating a classic Beatles song, primarily pushed by people who didn't even get the LOLcat references, so she took down the video and re-posted it to clear the comments. YouTube is truly a hive of scum and villainy.
