Running the Gauntlet

I finally finished my chainmail gauntlets for the Labyrinth of Jareth costume. I got Jodi to take some pictures for me. Of course, being a professional fashion photographer, she had to make me pose all dramatic-like. She couldn't just shoot the gauntlets themselves

Wow! Beautiful! How much time do you have invested in this project?

Quite a bit... The first one took forever, probably close to 100 hours, because I kept having to redesign and rebuild it. Gloves are incredibly hard to get right. However, the second one I did in probably closer to 8 hours of actual work, since I was just copying the first design.
