for running, rockish songs you have an emotional involvement in, or some sort of association. The association will pull you through the running or make you run harder. Or just a song you like to rock out to will work well, but having alot of them can make you zone out.
for working out, anything provoking anger would work.
anything provoking laughter is counterproductive. slow and/or sad songs can be.
well yeah I knew what you meant, but my best running songs aren't going to be that great for you. I tend to listen to rockish songs more when I'm running, cause most of the hiphop/rap/etc I have is overplayed on the radio anyway, or I just don't care about.
Learning to Breathe - Switchfoot is one for slower running. Lips of an Angel - Hinder is faster running. How About You - Staind Promiscuous (Feat. Timbaland) - Nelly Furtado Playing for Keeps - Switchfoot Can't Get Away - Third Eye Blind Blinded - Third Eye Blind (I wouldn't recommend slow motion..) Cold - Crossfade So Far Away - Crossfade
That's usually some of my primary list. I throw some other random stuff in there to mix it up:
Some Creed, Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin's new CD Phobia, and any other songs I have that have the word "Run" in the title. A random one's Pretty Girl (The Way) by Sugarcult.
I definitely agree with the "Promiscuous Girl" that Dan said.
BUT!!!!!!! I would say...get crunk on your run. Get super crunk. If its LIl' Jon, Chamillionaire, T.I., or Yung Joc, DO IT.
But as you said, you want actual songs, so I'll give you MY workout playlist.
What You Know - T.I. Promiscuous Girl - Nelly Furtado Do It To It - Cherish Ridin' - Chamillionaire Its Goin' Down - Yung Joc Ms New Booty - Bubba Sparxxx Dip It Low - Christina Milian Oh - Ciara Play Something Country - Brooks and Dunn Numb/Encore - Jay Z + Linkin Park Crawling - Linkin Park Run It - Chris Brown
....there's more but like...I don't feel like bending down and picking up the actual CD. Do you know whats hot? I'm getting a Zen soon! I know! Totally awesome!!!!
