My Top 20 OTPs of all time!

Jun 11, 2009 04:55

I originally started working on this list years ago (literally years ago), but then I set it aside because my descriptions of each pairing were getting to be ridiculously long, and I was talking about the backstory and facts and all of this annoying stuff which really has nothing to do with why I like certain pairings ( Read more... )

otp, anime, transformers

Oh, Daisuke/Ken. I kind of loved both playing around with the fucked-upness and the potential sweetness - or trying my best to do both in the same fic sometimes!

Raistlin! *waves at the pairings with glee* He is still my absolute favourite thing of Dragonlance. I always feel just a bit wrong shipping him and Caramon even though it's so, so true ...

And hee, Madarame/Saki! They really were just totally adorable and sweet! Madarame is totally adorable.

(Osamu/Ken is totally reasonable. In, yes, a sick and twisted way!)

You know, it was actually my childhood dream to one day go to Prince Edward Island after reading the Anne of Green Gables books.

Laaaate because I haven't checked LJ in a week, but Daisuke/Ken is the best ever omg ;A; I also like the pairing much more in its sweeter incarnation.

Raistlin~~I haven't touched any Dragonlance books in a while now, but he's the biggest thing I remember from them, aside from maybe Tasselhoff.

I actually wandered over here because of a Starscream/Skyfire story you wrote for the tf meme, and. Well. Uh. Then I spotted your Megatron/Starscream paragraph, and your Starscream/Skyfire paragraph, and then I read them aloud to the household. Hi!

(♥_♥ I am kind of ridiculous about Skyfire and Starscream, so it was awesome to see them in your list! Also, you do *beautiful* Starscream, and the Skyfire you wrote in that story just had me cooing at him.)

Oh, thank you so much! I've loved those two for, like, forever!

I did a list of SS/SF fanfic reccs for fandomsecrets a while back, so if you're interested in seeing some of the fic for this pairing that I like, you can find it here. ♥

Also, if you like my Starscream, you might be interested in the Megatron/Starscream fic I did some time back: Happiness is a Warm Gun. Oh, so bitter. So, so bitter. Unlike the SS/SF fic, that one is actually complete. :)

I just started watching TRANSFORMERS last year, and I fell in love about ten minutes into Fire in the Sky. I just. The look on Starscream's face when he saw Skyfire's wing peeking out of the ice, and the way he talked. Starscream! Speaking quietly! Offering him the 2IC position JUST LIKE THAT. ljkfdaafdjsfdjskasdfaj OKAY THEY'RE IN LOVE. (And they break my *heart*. KIDS. NO. BE FRIENDS AGAIN.)

Ooooh. I have read several of those, but not all, so thank you!

I think I saw that recced somewhere! *saves tab for when I get home*

I know. They are so obvious!!! I love M/S but that is such a difficult pairing, whereas SS/SF is all about how much they are in love with each other and how they need to forgive each other so they can be in love again! It's obvious they both want it. ;__;

Whoa! Nostalgic...

Hum... would you have any recs for Daisuke/Ken? the few I've found are either long dead or made me cringe in horror at their grammatical mistakes.

And "Strangers in Paradise" really intrigued me. I'll be looking up on it so thanks in advance for the rec? :)

Hee. Yes, I did indeed make a reccs post. I'm glad you found it and I hope you like the fics I recommend!

"Strangers in Paradise" is available in about five big anthologies, which can be easily ordered online or at any bookstore. Hell, if you live next to a Borders they probably have some copies in stock, so you can check it out for free. The art is really good. Really, really good!
