"Not sure anyone would believe that," Dinah pointed out, smirking a little bit. "Because we are seriously out of his league... hmm. How about, he was planning on selling us his car?"

"Oooh! That's a good one! And he probably would cheat at selling it, too. We put money down, of course."

"A thousand dollars to hold it?" Dinah suggested. "What do you think, do we look like we have more than that?" She held open the door, and looked around the bar. No band tonight, and the place had customers, but it was fairly quiet.
