Lion-o was already pouting before he got to Momoko's door. "Do you really have to leave? I hate having to say good-bye to people," he said.

"I suppose your academy will be really different than Fandom High," said Lion-o. "Do you think you're ready? As much as I like it here, I can't imagine going to more schooling once I graduate."

"I am totally not ready." Prepare to hear her whine, Lion-o. "They sent me a list of the classes and I have to take, like, a hundred of them! Every day! I totally forgot that's how school was, I've been here so long."

Lion-o was okay with whining, actually. "I can just imagine all the homework. You'll be so busy trying to keep up," he said with a smirk.

Momoko gaped at him. "HOMEWORK?! You have to do HOMEWORK to be a police officer?"

She hadn't thought of that!

"Even classes in Fandom have homework occasionally," said Lion-o, trying not to laugh at her reaction.

"Well, true, but... what kind of homework can you do about catching criminals?"

"Follow a police officer for a day? Look up past cases? Write a psychological profile of a criminal?" suggested Lion-o.

Momoko sighed in relief. "Oh, that should be totally easy. I've done some of that already. I thought you meant, like math and stuff."
