Room 512, Friday Before the Dance

Momoko was up and dressed for the dance, waiting for Jaime to come by to take her and not at all fidgeting and thinking about what Dinah had said yesterday. Nope!

She stood at her desk fiddling arranging the pink roses at her desk. She'd found them this morning and totally owed Spock a hug for them. Especially since she hadn't gotten him anything

Jaime was standing outside the door. He'd been there for, like, a minute. Working up the nerve to knock. He looked down at the bouquet in his hands and took a deep breath.

Then, before he could think about it again, he knocked.

Momoko was so lost in thought... or not-thought, that she nearly knocked over the vase at the knock. She pulled away from the desk and stood at the door for a few seconds to get herself calmed down.

Silly Dinah, now Momoko was nervous about spending time with Jaime!

Deep breath, and she opened the door, flattening a hand down her dress. "Hey you! I'm ready! Come in and I'll get my bag." That sounded TOTALLY normal, right?

Jaime didn't come in.

He also didn't give her the flowers.

He was busy.

Staring.

Heels. Stockings. DRESS.

He was staring at her? PANIC TIME! Was there something wrong with how she looked? Maybe she should have gone with a long dress, like she'd planned? Or something in pink? She'd totally feel more comfortable, but then Dinah had said he liked red and it was Valentine's day...

"Uhm? You're staring?" She clasped her hands together and grinned hopefully at him. "I look okay, right?"
