Momoko had rushed back to the dorms as soon as her portal had let her out, stowed her things (aka threw them on her bed) and rushed off to class.

Jaime wasn't in the best of spirits himself, what with the Raven news, but he did have something for Momoko.

Besides, talking to her always made him feel at least a little bit better. So there he was, at her door, boot in hand.

Someone hadn't noticed anybody at the door.

Oh. And that would be Momoko, because Moshi was ignoring her, looking past where she was sitting, to the door and swishing his tail at Jaime, possibly hoping for a snack. Or at least a skritch.

Jaime wasn't about to interrupt Momoko when she was being ridiculous.

It was too adorable.

So he just stood there, watching. And smirking.

Momoko was still frowning at the tablet. "At least it means the same thing. That's a plus. Ah, well. Okay. That over there." She set the tablet aside and reached into her bags again. "What else did I bring?"

Moshi, for his part, jumped from the bed to sit in front of Jaime and stare up at him. Not begging, more asking why the human wasn't paying attention to him.
