She had no classes today, and until Dinah was off work later, she had some free-time. So Momoko was in her room reviewing her notes for her Friday class. She had been taken completely by surprise by the midterm yesterday, and she totally did not want to disappoint Professor Gibbs like, ugh, she probably had Professor Cabot

"Because that requires a really expensive coffee machine," Jaime answered as he strode into her room without an invitation. He had his hands behind his back in an oh-so-innocent manner.

Momoko looked up and went from being utterly confused about the acidity of certain beans to being very happy to see Jaime.

"Hey! Yay! A distraction! An excuse to stop studying!" She shut her notebook with emphasis. Stupid icky coffee could wait. "Hi, Jaime!"

"Is that all I am to you?" Jaime asked, trying to affect a believable pout. "A distraction?"

He shook his head sadly. "Then I guess I shouldn't give you these..." He kept his hands clasped firmly behind his back so she couldn't see what 'these' were.

"Yep!" She twisted her head, as if that would let her see behind him. "Unless that's some fresh and delicious cakes back there, in which case you are the best person I know!"
