The sound of Jaime's insane sprint could be heard down the hall. He realized too late that he wasn't going to be able to stop in time. The sound of skidding feet and "Oh no!" was pretty loud too, but drowned out by a very Jaime-sounding thump as he caught the door frame and swung himself in through the doorway...

Momoko blinked and looked up. She was kind of used to footsteps running up and down the halls, but having someone land in her room was new. Then she noticed who it was. Aha!

She laughed and lifted her magazine again. "Hi, Jaime! I'm home right now, so you'll have to come back and break in later! Sorry if the open door confused you!"

"Webcams!" he gasped, clearly out of breath, eyes wide with panic.

Momoko blushed slightly, remembering the phone call she'd gotten earlier from Ino. Had that actually been meant for Jaime? The idea didn't settle well with her for some reason.

"Yes, I have one. it's built into the laptop, though, so you can't borrow it."

Not that she would have loaned it to him if it wasn't- not after hearing that message and what some people used them for.

Dinah was flitting back to her room-- Karla was right, you really couldn't get much lift with the wings-- and stopped to peer into Momoko's room. "Did you get my message? I'm betting not."

"Yours and a bunch of other peoples' probably!" Momoko rolled her eyes and grinned, waving Dinah in. "People here make very strange calls! I called back to ask what time you wanted me to come down. Want to chat now?"

"So you did get it? Weird. I didn't get yours," Dinah said, floating in, green wings fluttering, self-consciously checking the bodysuit as she shut the door. "And yeah, I got a bunch of strange calls, I think the phones are all screwed up again. Do you remember, this happened last year?"

"YOU HAVE WINGS!" Momoko was up and circling Dinah, squealing and happily not-touching the pretty pretty WINGS!ZOMG.

"How come you didn't use them before! I didn't know you could fly too! Oh, we so need to go flying someday! Don't you love being in the air? Ah! We could go now! Is it snowing? It's not, right? You should have told me!"

Excited Momoko was excited.
