Kiku thought it would be terribly impolite to suck someone’s blood. He’d tried many times, facing his mirror, to practice asking, “I’m sorry for the imposition, but I’m a vampire and I’m really quite hungry, so if it wouldn’t trouble you could I perchance drink some of your blood?”

Pffft! That had me giggling and I can imagine Kiku saying something really dorky like that XD
