Hope everyone is doing good. Just a heads up for anyone who is still participating in this year's HeroineBB.

Rough Drafts are due June 14th! So make sure you mark your calendars. (Because I promise, I will keep my word on the dates lol)

Only if you wish to (like since then you've been writing and have an updated version) but you don't have to. So long as there IS in fact a rough draft, then you're good.

I'm really bummed about it, but I think I'm going to have to drop out. My university decided I should be working for them full-time this summer instead of part-time like I'd anticipated, which is great but means I don't have enough time or brainpower to get the story done on time. Sorry! I am still working on it slowly, and it's something I wouldn't have done otherwise, so I'm really happy for that opportunity. Thanks

I'm going out of town tomorrow for a week, and will be gone when rough drafts are due. My rough draft is about 400 words below the minimum word count for the mini bang rough draft right now. I will be working on it while I travel, but I'm not sure if I'll have an internet connection to submit the day of. Is it okay if I submit early?

Yes, that's fine. You can always submit early :)

I missed this when it was first posted, but I wanted to let you know that I might not get my little bang in. I really want to but RL is stressful as both of my parents are ill and I am looking after them. I also have written half of it already but don't like it that much

Totally understand what you're going through as one parent is currently in the hospital and the other is not doing well. I hope they get better and hope to see you again if you decide not participate this round :)
