In reference to Tim Kring quitting...

One of my inside sources, truffle_shuffle, did some legwork with HER sources who are very inside, and can't get any confirmation on
this.

Her source is a good one, so I feel a bit reassured.

Any chances that this gossip started because Kring decided not to cross a picket line? I was talking with my husband about this, and he said that some producers also belong to the Writer's Guild.

No idea really how it started. There's been no public comments from Kring since earlier in the weekend.

That's what I thought as well. Possibly, he may have made threats to quit in relation to the strike, as well, that could have been taken out of context. I can't imagine he'd leave the show, even if he was unhappy with the current situation, because he has enough experience in the industry to know that sometimes things are out of your hands.

Thanks for the intell. What can we do about any of this? I hate sitting on the sidelines.

We can do exactly NOTHING.

It's all in the hands of others, really. Tim can stay or go as he deems fit, and the strike will end when there's an equitble resolution.

Boycotting won't help, because 1: too few people would do it, history proves, and 2: it'd hurt the same people we want to help.
