I like how he takes after his not! boyfriend and starts injecting himself to give himself powers, lol I didn't think of that! Haha!
Almost as much as I love the Sylar parallels, I love that he's still wearing ugly patterned shirts. Mohinder isn't Mohinder without bad clothes. Although lack of shirt is ok, too. ;) Love his hair in the second one. It is like the Mohinder hair of yesteryear, which makes the lack of scruff more bearable.

Yes, these screencaps make me all nostalgic. Mo's even put HIMSELF on the ceiling!
I NOTICED THAT TOO! And I know I shouldn't get my hopes up after last season, but the residual awesomeness of the last episode where Mo was on the ceiling is so strong that I just can't help feeling like this is a good sign.
Confession? When I first watched the promo, I didn't even recognize the crazy sweaty thing as Mohinder. It wasn't until the fiftieth second or so time watching that I realized "Holy CRAP, that's Momo!"
What freaks me out is the look on his face - I can't tell if he's thrilled his experiment/whatever worked, or if he's just gone batshit crazy, or a little of both.
Either way, honestly, I am THRILLED this means Mohinder might finally be getting his science on. One of my biggest pet peeves of the last two seasons is that other people were always explaining sciencey stuff TO him, despite that he's the ostensible expert on powers. Like, way to misuse your science person, show.

I think it's a little bit of both. I think Mohinder's gonna go a little ~*~Mad Scientist~*~ this season, which I'm really excited about. Crazy!power-junkie!Mohinder would rock! As long as it's only temporary, of course.

I really, really hope so too. To me, a good Mad Scientist arc would more than justify the "Mohinder gets a power" spoiler. It could give him some really unique moral depth, in the way that Hiro has to consider the effects of changing time, and Isaac had to consider knowing the future, and both kind of teetered on the potentially tragic (well - *actually* tragic, in Isaac's case). It's really high time they do something like this with Mohinder and science. I feel kind of dumb getting my hopes up after last season, but the potential is SO GOOD.

Agreed. Plus, Mad Scientist stories often work best when the guy pulls himself back from the brink somehow...

There's nothing wrong with getting your hopes up, especially since Mohinder's storyline in S2 was one of the best things about it, IMO.

Yes, exactly, and I've always wanted to see something like that happen with Mohinder's character. I like the idea of him losing himself to the "dark side" a little bit, but pulling himself back before he's completely gone. Kinda like he did in FYG.
I agree with all of you... and then the fact that is injecting something to himself and that is gone a little mad is the only way to explain last picture...I mean...there's obviously something wrong with that scene...*me doesn't like Maya...like...at all...does it shows??*

Thanks for making screencaps, Cookie!
