I don't know why, but...that was a tear-jerker.

I think you captured an eight-year old's mind-traffick perfectly. You made it realistic, cause he would've been afraid. (I would have freaked out).

The ending was beautiful and I really like your idea for this story. Ahhh, you write Matt wonderfully. Keep it up!

Matt's rapidly becoming my favorite character (and he's fun to write). That and I could totally see the guy doing something like that. He strikes me as the sort of guy who has a soft spot for all kinds of things in distress. XD
