Two weeks ago, we did a dystopian future challenge. This week, inspired by the Hiro's favorite bedtime story, we're going to do an AU challenge!
Somewhen Over the Rainbow Challenge
In "Landslide," Hiro's father reminds him of his favorite bedtime story. A hero who saved his people and his princess, by being willing to cut out his own heart. For the next two weeks, we challenge you to give us your AU visions.
Have a favorite historical (future) period? What if Heroes happened then or there? Think Nathan would look awesome in Wild West leather? Maybe you imagine Angela Petrelli as Queen Isabella (omg I totally need to write that), or Claire as a missionary's daughter in Africa, or Linderman as an evil pharaoh. Or maybe you think Matt makes a smashing interstellar bounty hunter.
Marvel did it with 1602, now it's your turn. You've got two weeks (and *koff* if this spawns a bunch of awesome AU verses, you're so not going to hear me complaining).
Keep in mind, this isn't a general AU challenge. No High School/College AUs - we'll get to those another time. Spyfic, though, would work if you set it during the Cold War, say. The idea is to move our heroes somewhen else and tell us a story or three.
